Volunteer

Take a look at some of the great work our volunteers have done!

Ready to jump in? Send us an email!

We welcome volunteers to work side by side with our staff to supervise and mentor the youth while they are staying at the shelter. If you are interested in working with the youth, just send us your resume and three references.  We also use volunteers for grant writing, fundraising, and special events.

Community organizations such as service clubs, churches and church youth groups, high school and university student associations are a great way to organize efforts ranging in maintenance at the shelter to organizing a fundraising activity in the community.

The Youth Board is comprised of local high school students who develop and implement fundraising activities to support the shelter. Activities have included bake sales, car washes, as well as a benefit 5K run.

Undergraduate and graduate level interns from Oregon State University and Linn Benton Community College work with us.  Board members are also volunteer positions.
